Another milestone for Star Learners
Star Learners have expanded its operations to the western part of Singapore with the opening of a centre at block 501, Bukit Batok Street 52!

Open House

Welcome to the family: Star Learners @ Boscombe
This month has been happy indeed as we welcome our new member of Star Learners at 4A Boscombe Road (off Tanjong Katong Road)!
We're really happy about our ever-expanding family & we will be doing a short little blog entry to introduce you to our Boscombe Centre soon!

We are expanding! Star Learners @ Katong coming up!
The month of November has been extremely eventful, as Star Learners is growing! We will be opening a Star Learners @ Katong, located in the heart of Tanjong Katong, at 29 Branksome Road!
Targeting to open in January 2010, Star Learners @ Katong sits on more than 10,000 sft of land, encompassing a large outdoor garden with a dedicated sand play area, herb garden & even an outdoor creative art area! There will even be a gym room with full length mirrors to allow the children to watch their own performances.

Building Confident, Creative Children with Character
A man was walking along the beach one evening and saw a little boy throwing starfish that had been washed ashore by the tide into the sea. He thought the boy was silly in trying to save the starfish, as he knew it was impossible to throw every single one of the starfish back into the sea, with the tides washing them up.
The man walked right up to the boy and asked him why he was trying to save the starfish.
'You see sir; the starfish would die if they are left on the shore. They need to be in the sea in order to live,' answered the boy with all the innocence of a child.
'But son, how are you going to save all of them? Every time you put one back, another would be washed up. It doesn't matter to them, son'
The boy picked up a starfish, looked at the man and said, 'But sir, it matters to this one.' After saying that, he threw the starfish back into the sea. "
