Over the past 15 years as a principal, I have embraced the importance of patience and perseverance — values that I believe are key to success in this field.
I strongly believe that learning should be active and meaningful, allowing children to take charge of their own learning. Inspired by Chickering and Gamson’s principles, I advocate for hands-on experiences that encourage young learners to explore, engage and connect knowledge to their daily lives. When children participate actively, they build confidence, develop critical thinking skills and cultivate a lifelong love for learning.
